Aqua WHITE SAND
AQUAMINS White Sand is a natural sand that is calcium-enriched. It is of high purity and white in color. Thanks to its calcium and carbonate content, it maintains water hardness and attempts to keep the pH value stable, creating a natural habitat necessary for the well-being of your aquatic creatures. It can be used in marine aquariums, Tanganyika lake aquariums, Malawi/Victoria lake aquariums, and all aquariums that require a high pH value. It brings the pH level to the range of 8.1-8.4.
It creates suitable living spaces for nitrification and denitrification bacteria, helping to keep the water consistently clean. It has not undergone any chemical processes, and it does not contain synthetic substances. It contains 99% pure calcium carbonate. The sand grains are not sharp or angular and do not harm fish or aquarium organisms.
Due to its high purity, it dissolves faster compared to other sands. The quicker dissolution of sand enhances its buffering capacity, ensuring it remains white for a longer duration.
Usage Instructions
- To avoid cloudiness in the water during initial sand addition or when replenishing depleted sand over time, it is recommended to rinse the sand before adding it to the aquarium. The cloudiness that may occur before adding the sand is due to the natural structure of the sand containing fine dust particles, which are completely harmless and have the same content as sand particles.
Warnings
Keep out of the reach of children. Not intended for human consumption. Avoid contact with skin and, especially, eyes. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention. The expiration date is located on the bottom of the box.
